There will be an “Open House” at 1001 Mitchell Street (Morgan Point Site 072-004), Corinth, MS on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. This is a vacant unit with new windows. At 11:00 a.m., maintenance staff will take you to a unit that does not yet have new windows. Masks will be required at this unit.

OPEN HOUSE Question/Comments:

  • Do we have to remove the storm door to paint the jamb & then reinstall? Can we complete the painting without removing the door? Concerned about reinstallation into old jamb/framing.*

Yes, drawings call for storm door to be removed and reinstalled

  • Paint the door on “3 sides”. Specifically which 3 sides? Maintenance states the latch edge of the door is normally painted to match the interior.*

The 3 sides are called out in multiple places in the drawings. The “exterior face and 2 vertical edges will be painted”

  • What is the specific window color? Specs state aluminum windows, no color specific that he’s seen.*

They will be bronze to match the neighboring units . THIS item will be in the addendum

  • Might need some clarification on the step rails, attendees were discussing how the placement of the (‘side mount metal plate’ at the offset) would work on those steps.*

Every step is different and will have to be measured

  • What paint color and paint mfg. are to be used on the doors? *

Doesn’t matter yet

  • Some comments about how each individual set of steps would have to measured in order to ensure the rails would install correctly, they are likely to vary slightly.*

*Every step is different and will have to be measured *
